Amzlayer WP Plugin – Create an Amazon Affiliate section on your WordPress site

Amzlayer WP is a WordPress plugin that helps you easily create an affiliate store section within your blog/site with millions of products. If you prefer a standalone version instead of a WordPress plugin, you can check Amzlayer PHP!

Use Amzlayer WP to increase revenue from your blog traffic, you don’t need to manually create affiliate links, users can find any product on Amazon through Amzlayer.

Email Campaigns

Amazon doesn’t allow promoting affiliate links in email campaigns. So you can find the corresponding product page on your Amzlayer site and link that in your emails.

Social Media

Amazon doesn’t allow you to post affiliate links on social media sites Instagram, Quora, Reddit. Facebook groups usually don’t allow the promotion of affiliate links. In these cases, instead of posting an affiliate link to Amazon on Instagram for example, you can also use the product page on your Amzlayer site and you’ll be fine.

Tell Friends

Tell your friends and family to buy from Amazon using your site and earn comissions every month.

The standard Amazon affiliate link gives you 24 hours for a customer to make a purchase, in order for you to earn a commission. Amazon will extend your cookie by another 89 days if the customer adds a product to their cart. Amzlayer will add the products to cart on your site before sending the user to Amazon so your users will get the 90 days Amazon cookie(only for the products added to the cart from your site).

How Would We Use Calypso? [18:52]

MAJOR CONTENT CORRECTION:
In this recording, and at the live meetup I incorrectly said that site users could login to WordPress.com to access the management areas and create content within a team, if the site is connected via Jetpack. This is inaccurate.

Your clients, or authors would need to have independent WordPress.com accounts through which they can login BUT i have yet to find any way to invite them to access Calypso within a team for self-hosted WordPress sites (on WordPress.com sites you can still invite any tuber of users to be authors etc.) For self-hosted, Although you can have multiple people login through one user account- that is insecure, and bad form.

So I am left to re-think my current view of Calypso – If it cannot currently be used within a team.. then its only helpful to the sole admin that initiated the JetPack connection. FOR NOW : )

Will update with findings on this matter asap.

Super Easy: How To Create a Filigree Pattern Brush in Adobe Illustrator

Hi there! I work in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop every single day, and I get such a thrill out of learning something new in my toolbox that I just have to share it. Today, that something ‘new’ isn’t really new at all- but it was all new to me! Creating a pattern brush for ‘filigree’ border.  You see this sort of edging on certificates, badges and money or vintage-looking coupons.

I have a project that I am working on, to refresh a client’s logo. Their existing logo has a lovely filigree border that I didn’t want to lose in the redesign.  Watch the tutorial video to see how it’s done!
